Anyone.....is the Coomback a stiffer ski than last years Coomba?? Hope so.....

No, in my estimation the Coomba and Coomback are similarly soft. As jaybruce says, if you want stiff try the hardside or sidestash.

Why not just get the hardside or sidestash then. Hardside is only 4mm skinnier and sidestash is 6mm wider and both are sidewall/metal laminate skis. I'm sure one of those would fit your needs if you wanted a similar ski. Or just get a black diamond verdict. Similar dims, not a twin, and considerably stiffer if thats what you want. Just a few ideas.
