is this pack waterproof? I'm looking for something to pack to work when i bike in the rain or shine. So if its pouring outside i need to be sure the pack i have will keep the water out away from my laptop.

Like most everyday daypacks, this is water-resistant and not waterproof. If it is really important to find one that is more waterproof, I would also check out the technical daypack section: http://www.backcountry.com/store/group/100000046/Daypacks-Technical.html Some of these packs are constructed to do better in the elements (but they won't have as many pockets or organizational features). Better yet, some technical daypacks come with a built-in rain fly.
