Write your question here...I am currently planning a trip to Kluane National preserve in the southwest corner of the Yukon. The trip involves a lot of cross country in open gravely country. Would these do OK, or should I go for a heavier sock?

Depends on your feet in terms of temperature. Are you going during the colder season? If so you may want to go warmer. If your feet are use to a little thinner sock or a medium thick sock these will be fine. They're fantastic socks! I use them for about everything. They never stink and they don't rub my feet funny either. Hope that helps.
