Does this pack have a vertical snowboard carry option? I'm assuming it does just by looking at the straps and because the none avalung model (might be older two) has almost the exact same strap configuration and it says it has snowboard carry capabilities.

I've got the previous model (before they incorporated the avalung), and you can carry a snowboard vertically. The compression straps can be undone and clipped across the pack (running through the bindings I find works best). Use the big yellow strap a the top of the pouch to pull the whole load tight to your back and you're golden. It looks a little funny but it works really good.

I don't believe it does. It could easily be fitted with a couple of small nylon straps with fastex buckles to create one.
