Where can I purchase the replacement laces for this shoe? If this is used for long distance, a replacement pair of laces are mandatory back-up.

all the shops who are selling the XT wings have access to replacement lace kits. The issue is now corrected and the new models have no more early breakage of the laces. We changed the loops. And if you're happy with the XT wings, don't exchange them with the XA Pro 3D ultra, these are not at all the same shoes, and they are not at all made for the same usage. The XT Wings are lighter and more cushy than the XAPro 3D.

I had the same problem. If your're interested, exchange them for the XA Pro 3D ultra. The fabric lace loops have little plastic reinforcers which help not put so much wear on them.
