Does this jacket have any core venting ability? Something like pit zips for instance.

It doesn't because it is an un-laminated softshell that has good breathability without using core or pit zips. While shell jackets and even laminated softshell jackets need this type of venting for more aerobic activities, it is usually not necessary on a lighter weight softshell like the Pneumatic.
