When wearing the battery pack attached to the headlamp, what do people recommend doing with the FIVE feet of cord? Is the a convenient and compact way to deal with the cord???

I know someone who winds it tightly around itself and uses a thick rubberband to secure excess cord to itself, or the battery pack depending on the situation. i've also seen him stuff some cord down the neck of his shirt... simple, but effective.
