Does anybody know anything about this "Heatseeker" insulation? If it is as good or close to Thinsulate insulation? As far as I am concerned Thinsulate is the warmest insulation going for keeping you warm down into the single digits and below temps. I have some of this new insulation Primaloft all makers seem to be going to and it does not keep you warm at all. Like in the low 30's or high 20's with my Under Armour Cold Gear top heavy Chamois shirt and this coat with Primaloft I get a chill or even cold. I have a older Cabela's Parka with Gore-Tex,Thinsulate insulation with the same Under Armour and Chamois Shirt I can stay comfortable in those temps easily. My cold weather usage is like sitting on a deer stand or fishing in cold weather and that is why Thinsulate is so good. I like better than goose down for keeping me warm with little movement. Primaloft maybe good for moving around in but like a cold weather football game it does not keep me warm. Help me please on this Heatseeker.
