how wind resistant is this jacket? does the conduit laminate block wind as well or is it only wind resistant as a typical nylon jacket? in lieu of getting gortex im lookn for something that is wind/water proof/resistant.

jsung. Just to elaborate a little more, it is wind and waterproof and will cost you a bit less than a similar GoreTex jacket. Conduit is our proprietary water proof and breathable laminate. Also, this jacket is insulated with 600 fill gray european goose down. So, if you are looking for a really warm ski-featured jacket... look no further.

Hi Jsung. The Conduit laminate is windproof as well as waterproof. This jacket will keep you dry and super warm. Actually, now that I'm looking at it this is a damn cool jacket. Hmmm...Christmas is coming...
