i was thinking about getting this backpack b ut i was just wondering in the hip belt was removeable or could come of if anyone know please help me out.

I just received mine today, it is great. You cannot remove the hip belt, but it will definitely help keep it secure when skiing. One more thing, which doesn't actually seem to matter, is that it said on the label that it's recommended for users 5 ft 7 and shorter.
