Is this jacket just a shell or would it be warm enough to ski in without another jacket under it. Also, does it really have no interior pockets?

The jacket also lets you zip-in an inside layer, like a fleece, for colder days.

The jacket does have insulation. It isn't just a shell. However the insulation probably wouldn't be enough to keep you warm when it gets down to below freezing temps. It's hard to tell though, some people just get colder than others. But you could obviously throw on a sweatshirt underneath and probably be fine, due to the 15k waterproof rating that this jacket has, you don't have to worry about getting wet. And it is also a loose fit, so there would be plenty of room for another jacket or sweatshirt underneath. And I am certain that it does have at least one interior pocket. Large enough for a pair of glasses, or a mens wallet, or mp3 player. I don't know why they only talk about the exterior pockets in the description, but wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more interior pockets. I have two oakley jackets and my girlfriend has one as well, and they all have 2 or 3 interior pockets, so I don't see why this one would be any different. You could always send it back for a full refund, no questions asked, if for some reason you got it and didn't like it.
