i have owned both and if they fit right its not that bad

My experience with Arroyo and Newport H2 has been that the slide catch slips if the shoe is too large- even if only a half size too large. If the shoe fits well I don't require tension from the slide. Hope this helps :)

I ordered a pair, and the answer is "no, the slide catch still slips." I returned them.
