Is this a jacket to warm enough to wear skiing in up to -4 degrees conditions? or is it more of a run around town kind jacket?

I just wore this jacket as a base layer under my ski coat at the mountain. about 20 degrees with a 30 mph wind... was toasty warm! I would only wear it as a layering piece under a warm coat for colder weather.
