if you're not using the bottom A-frame ski loops, those would definitely be strong enough, especially if you put just one boot on each. Just carry the skis diagonally. I wouldn't try putting boots anywhere else though

I wouldn't trust it for too much, but if your boots are relatively light or you aren't going too far, it should be alright. If you plan on throwing the bag around with the boots hanging from it, it might not hold.
