i have to disagree with the comment about not using it in the snow, i use my tent very early and late in the year. last year me and my 68 year old father stayed in 5 degree night temps in my sunrise. If you have some old blankets,throw them over the top and with a small heater you can be very comfortable. And thats even with the windows cracked. mine is 14 years old and i have used it way more than the average. i am looking to replace it for a bigger size and i wouldn't buy anything else.

The Sunrise 9 is only a 3-season rated tent so snow should be avoided. As far as rain & being waterproof is concerned, it passes the test. As far as breath ability is concerned, it passes with all A's! This is a great beach, car camping, etc. tent.
