Write your question here...I am going to be trekking to Everest Base Camp this fall or spring, maybe even winter. Is this pant strong and warm enough for that? I don't want something that looks like sweatpants when I meet government Nepalis, do these look like I was able to buy "decent clothes"?

These pants look great, almost like dress pants.

these pants are very durable, nylon material. they are also a great weight for spring and fall as is. add a baselayer and you would be great for full on conditions. and your question about whether these are good and presentable for officials, i think you will be happy with with them. the bit of mechanical stretch, and the DWR allows them to stay clean and look good for a while!
