Looking for a good pair of soft-shells for snowshoeing and XC skiing. Would these be heavy/warm enough alone on warmer days (25-30)/ with long underwear underneath on colder days (10-20)?

these are light enough to be good on 25-30 degree days, they breathe well, and will not be hot. on colder days, more wind, and 10-20 degrees, a merino layer, or a baselayer would be great, a bit more insulation, but still breathe much, much better than a goretex pair, or similar shells.
