Hi, I am wondering if this product would be advisable to use as a 'stuff sack' for my 4200cu pack while checking it on a flight? Don't know if it would be useful for that purpose, or if it could be a hindrance due to the exomesh wires potentially getting caught while checking luggage. Any insight would be appreciated!

I think it would work pretty well for that. The only thing is that you cant lock anything anymore if you are taking it on a flight
