I am looking for compression tights that are wicking. I am recovering from DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and have been wearing medical stockings. I need something that I can use when I hike/back pack and get back into my work out routine. Has anyone had any experience with DVT and have you used these compression tights after DVT? Also, what is the compression strength on these?

Debbie- Just saw your question now. CW-X Tights are not specifically sold as a medical grade compression product. However, the patented CW-X support Web on the tights does offer a targeted support and compression benefit. To answer your question directly, the areas of the tight that do not have the Support web have a 15-20 mmHg rating. The support web has a 20-25 mmHg rating. so what you get is a more targeted type of support and compression where the muscles are rather than overall compression of the entire leg. This is key in athletics where you want the support and compression in the key muscle areas but not all around. Hope this helps you. We have had many customers who greatly benefit from the design and function of the CW-X Tights.
