Can anyone attest to the durability of these pants? All i see are these weak looking single seams, nothing flatlocked or anything like that. I bought some Sugoi pants from BC, with similiar stitching, and they started to fall apart in 3 months. Now, i'm not saying that these would... i'm just wondering if anyone can attest to their durability.

Especially while climbing... looks like those seams would just rip apart.

the knee got some tiny holes from kneeing in mine on some rough ground quite a bit. Also the inside 'fleece' or fur or brushed whatever has almost totally disappeared from mine in wear spots (knees, thigh and back of thigh, part of butt). Each time when I'm finished wearing these I end up with a lot of 'lint' in a place that aint so pleasant. i still love the pants though. if BC.com had them in stock in my size I'd send these in for a replacement though as I think the inside brushing shouldn't slough off so easily. I wear them for mountaineering too, just with long underwear underneath.

They are pretty durable for hiking and rock climbing. However, I caught my pair on a small tree. Because they don't have a slick finish and are stretchy, the tree caught them and tore a small hole. I've only had mine for a few months, but abused them pretty hard for about a month straight. Except for the hole, they held up great.

I've worn these pants for a few backpacking trips and just used them last weekend for climbing and they did great. They are surprisingly resilient for how lightweight they are, and I think they are going to be around for a while. If they have your size you won't be disappointed.

I would say that they are durable with the elasticity of the material and in the picture you can see the guy climbing a mountain so Im sure it would be fine for that
