Sherlock-I am skiing on Volkl Go-Tammas 176 cm-I thinkd the length is perfect for me-155lbs-expert 54 year old-skiing 40 years-can you give me guidance on whether I should get the short or longer skis(Rossignol s7)??PS-Skiing Mt Hood/Bachelor-Lots of trees-Thanks

The S7s have significant tip rocker, which makes the extra length very manageable. The 188 will ski shorter than it measures and you're going to be loving the extra float. If you're on the 176 Got, the 188 should be fine for you...
