Absolutely. I've always used it with a baseball cap and it's worked great. I'ge found that closing the drawstring at the bottom over a shirt collar works great to add space between the net and neck/back if using a cap. It's easily become a part of my essential outdoor gear; pure bliss when the bugs are out.
