Do the black gloves have the leather outer (top of hand) like the orange gloves? From the pic the material appears different.

Over the wrist is sort of a neoprene material. Directly over the hand is some other kind of fabric, and over the fingers is the leather. The black ones (the ones I have) are like the orange ones in that the fabrics are cut/will be the same.
