I think they run small nowadays (see my review from December 2010), but maybe in the past they ran large. In addition to my own experience, my friend who normally wears an 8.5 fit well in a 9; an 8 would've been too small.

Write your answer here... They run big and fit too loose. I tried them on and was not happy. The straps are very thin and unconfortable. Hope that helps.
