is the lining water proof, water resistant, or just a basic lining? Is it similar to Gore Tex?

I have a pair of these boots and so far they have been completely waterproof. I have crossed several streams and even used them during very heavy rain for a few hours on a trail with water running down it and zero leaks.

These do have a waterproof Gore-tex liner.
