I want to start backpacking, but i can't deside wether to get this pack or the Marmot Eiger 35 Backpack. I plan to go for 1-3 days at a time. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, this is really just a day pack that wouldn't be anywhere near large enough for backpacking. The Eiger 35 is almost twice as large, but still may be a little on the small side (if you are going to be carrying a tent, sleeping bag, etc.) Backcountry.com has a guide to backpacks that could be helpful to you (at http://www.backcountry.com/store/dc/470/Backcountry-Backpack-Guide.html ). Or, you could contact backcountry and they may be able to give you recommendations. If you will be spending 2-3 days in the backcountry, you may wish to look here: http://www.backcountry.com/store/group/42/Weekend-Packs-3000-4500-cu-in.html . OTOH, if you are just looking for a pack to carry stuff for a day hike, this is a great pack.
