I'm 5' 10" 265 and wear a size 60 coat.I always have a problem getting my shoulders in most bags. I camp all year from 90 degree nights in Honduras to 25 degree nights in north Ala.
What would be a good versatile bag and how cost effective is your bag layering.

Hi Pat, Of all BA bags, this one (along with all their Park series wide bags: Summit, Elk, Hog, Whiskey) would be the most likely to fit you. As far as layering goes, considering your vast range of temps, layering would be perfect. Get a warm weather synthetic bag, and a cool weather down bag, and put the down inside the synthetic so you don't have to purchase a 3rd bag for the coldest nights. Hope this helps!
