I want a jacket that fits good and isn't too baggy... i'm 5'11 and 145 lbs.. would a medium be a good fit?

I am 5'11" 160lb. I got a large because that is the only size the store had. It is not too big with no layers, but big enough to accommodate a down or fleece jacket under. The large was about the size of a Med Lowes jacket I also tried. Sleeves are a little long, but the velcro adjustments tightens it enough that it stays at my wrist.
