This seems like a real nice tent that i can bring everywhere but Is this too hot for the summer? also, this is about half pound heavier than the 3 season tent that I'm considering, how would that extra 1/2 pound feel like? Thanks in advance

These tents are bomb proof! They do tend to heat up during the summer but you can ditch the rain fly and vent it out a bit and you should be fine. 1/2 pound can feel like a ton if you're really weighted down but I wouldn't worry too much about it. This is just a great, solid tent! Hope that helps.
