Never had a Columbia parka, so size is my question. I always take an XL in a Karbon or a Mountain Hardware, the size chart has me in between, I'm 6'2"+ and 200+ lbs out of the shower. XL?
Here in FL I can't even try one on! LOL

With most items, MHW will have more of a "performance fit" than Columbia however,this will not effect sizing. A lot of the times the overall length of the sleeves and the back will be similar to each other. Given your specifications, I would stick with an XL, even if a large did fit you, choosing XL wouldn't be as drastic as say going from large to XXL. TTYL!
