La Sportiva Mythos Climbing Shoe - Men's DO NOT USE

How do these compare in comfort and performance to Boreal Aces?
I have an old pair of Boreal Aces (the maroon ones) from about 7 years ago, and rocked the black and green ones before that. Loved the Aces - great all-around shoe.
I have been out of the game for a while and don't really know the developments of gear. I do know that Mythos were always popular for an all-around shoe.
My Aces are too small so I am looking to replace. Just an all-around shoe for top-ropping, gym, short trad climbs, etc... Am looking for that delicate blend of good performance, but decent comfort. Think Aces (just can't find them anywhere).

Hey guys below - thanks this was all very helpful. I ended up purchasing a pair of Mythos several weeks ago and have gotten some out door climbing (crack, slab, face) in them as well as Gym time. I am adding a separate review and comparison to the Aces, but Moraineboy you hit the nail on the head with the Aces on slabs.

I have a pair of each (Aces and Mythos). The primary difference is that the Mythos are slip lasted (and will stretch to fit your foot), and the Aces are board lasted (so they will not stretch to fit your foot. I climb more frequently on the Mythos because they are pretty great for almost anything. I'll switch to the Aces if I want more edging confidence and need to stick my toes in little incut holds. I really dislike the Aces on slabs (scary!) because of the stiff board lasting. BTW, I climb mostly trad and some sport.

This is the shoe for you then. Almost identical in feel and performance as the Aces. Only difference is the wrap over of the fabric in the Mythos is not as "full" as i remember the Aces.
