Is the Tau just a half-zip version of the Accomplice? I'm looking for a wind-resistant/wind proof fleece that can also be a good mid-layer. Would the Tau be better for this sort of role?

Hey Nate. The Tau is cut slightly differently from the Accomplice. This has a more athletic (see: tighter) cut to act as a mid-layer. The Accomplice has a boxier cut to accommodate insulating layers underneath. Both will serve well as a wind resistant mid-layer. I would also recommend the Vatnajokull fleece by 66 North Iceland. I just picked one up and love the thing. It's virtually wind proof, super warm, and cheaper than the Arc'teryx stuff (because it's on sale right now).
