How does this compare to the Velocitee fabric from North Face?...

How does this compare to the Velocitee fabric from North Face? I really like the lightweight, silky feel of the Velocitee. I have to be careful to keep the velcro on my weight gloves from brushing against it, because it will snag fairly easily. This seems like Mountain Hardwear's version. Is that accurate?

I think they are almost identical. The fabric feels about the same and also has the problem of fraying easily. The fact that it is so comfortable offsets the durability issue for me.
