Two questions 1.What kind of strap/adjustabilty does this product...

Two questions
1.What kind of strap/adjustabilty does this product have? (velcro/slider etc).
2. What is the height of the band in the front & on the sides? (I'm super-touchy and don't want to have to send it back if it doesn't feel right).
