Can I use the sheet snaps to mate two pads together? Would the large Ventura quilt work with that kind of set up? Wondering if the snaps would match up properly...

You can snap 2 pads together and 2 ventra down comforters also. If you want to use only one comforter and 2 pads that would not work. All of the snap line up and it is designed for this use.
