does anyone have experience with the length? I'm 6'1 and was curious if there would be enough room to maybe put boots to keep warm and dry?

According to the above description the bivy sack is 84" long. You're 6'-1"=73" 84"-73"=11" 11" of 'open' space. The answer to your question, IMHO, would be 'yes'.
