Write your question here... Can anyone tell me what the rise is on these shorts -- where they sit on the waist? I'm 5'3" and short-waisted. Thanks!

I am the same height and short waisted as well...I have two pairs of these shorts (the greenish ones and the gray) and they fit well sitting exactly on the top of my hips. I have a slim build (113 lbs) and often have trouble finding shorts that will stay up, but the drawstring really helps with that. These shorts have been hiking in the Alps, yet look great for strolling around town! Just a tip though, order your normal size, as they are pretty true to standard sizing!
