It just takes a little practice, but is actually very easy to set up. I do it by myself all the time, even in slight wind. Of course the wind is never anyones friend when setting up a tent. The reason you need to practice is that it has no floor. Because of this it can get twisted around when you stuff it in the bag. Stake down one end and make sure the MSR logo is facing out. You'll know what I mean. I bought the floor, but never use it. It's much easier to walk in and out without taking boots off. The bedroom has a floor though.

This big tent is probably the fastest and easiest for its size just because you dont have elbows and unions to connect. Its just like setting up a dome tent except the poles go straight over like a tunnel and you have the two bent poles at the end to make the vestibule thing
