If I get the large one, will this fit inside my Atom sleeping bag??? Or should I just get a medium?

Get the large. Mine fits nice & snug into my WM Ultralite sleeping bag hood. It will also compress into your sleeping bag stuff sack without noticing any difference. The large does weigh three ounces more than the medium.

I'd even consider the small. Yeah - it's small, but in my opinion it is all you really need. Just food for thought.

Do you mean fit in the mummy hood? I have the large and i can say that it would probably not fit in any mummy bag. Go with the medium.
