The tech specs of this knife state the country of origin is China, however in some reviews it is said the Flash II is American made. Which is it?

Not all SOG knives are made in WA. I have a Salute model that was made in China. Some are made in Taiwan. If you question it (or it costs less than $100) then check out SOG's website. That will have the right information.

I think its a typo. All SOG knives are made in lynnwood washington.
