Barry Blalock: The specs say the twilight has fully taped seams and a bathtub floor. How is MSR still better. Do you have experience with both of these tents?? I need a new tent and The twilight seems very appealing as it also comes with a footprint and gear loft and is less money.

The Twilight 2P is a fully seam taped tent so it is completely waterproof. Also the weight of 5 lbs 9 oz is with the included footprint and gear loft. The minimum weight is 5 lbs 4 oz (that's the weight of the tent, poles and rain fly)and is only 6 oz heavier that the Hubba Hubba. It also have 5 more square feet and is $90 less that the Hubba if you also buy the footprint. Both are great tents, just wanted to lay out the facts.

The Hubba Hubba would be more waterproof. Everything is seam sealed and the bathtub floor would keep you dry if you pitched this thing in a shallow creek. The ventilation is outstanding. If you get this and you ever wake up wet in the morning, come find me and I'll give you the money you spent to buy this tent. MSR dominates Marmot in the tent realm. Always has, always will. I would like to say that this tent is nice, but it outweighs the Hubba Hubba by 2 lbs. You make the call.
