I camped along the Susquehanna River in Maryland ( Harford County) in summer of 2011. A storm blew-up during the night, the radio reported sustained winds of 35-45 mph and gusts to 55! My North Face Foundation 6 held fast and dry, with only the supplied anchors. This is a great tent.

if i remember right that would be about 50 MPH and i would not recomend that. if you guy it out really well you might be ok with a steady one directional wind but really i wouldnt go above like 30 MPH and feel all that comfortable.
