What size sleeping pad will this work with? I have noticed that other BA bags don't have any insulation in the back and I am concerned that it wont work well with my thermarest neo air because its 3/4 length and I wont have any insulation under my feet.

You are right. You will not have insulation under your feet. BA bags are meant to be used with inflatable pads that go from head to toe. You could slip your 3/4 pad in the pocket and be just fine, the only thing is that your feet will not have any insulation. Which if you bought a 3/4 pad means you are using your pack or some other kind of barrier. The Neo would work with the BA but personally you would be better off going with a different setup. If you are looking for a cheap summer bag checkout the Lafuma brands, really nice bags that won't break the bank especially the summer bags and they have all around insulation. Hope this helps.
