I'm 6'1 and 170 lbs and like my jackets fitted. Just got a small and I love it! sleeves are perfect length. Not too tight anywhere and enough room for a hooded sweatshirt underneath. Torso length is good too. Fits WAY better than my arcteryx softshell.

Yep, probably. I'm 5'8", 165 lbs., and the medium fits me well (except for the long sleeves). I have room for two light layers under it. It has quite an athletic cut, so if you like that, a small would *probably* work.
