No. My button fell off my MKs after a couple of years and some of the stitching is coming undone. I don't even wear them that much. I tried to contact them to BUY a new button and didn't even get a reply. Buy the Carharts.

It probably depends on what you want them for, but the gusset is really nice. They seem a bit softer to the touch than Carhartt's as well.

I've been climbing in both, and these seem much less restrictive than Carhaarts, which stay stiff longer. I got them at a slightly discounted price, though, so it was an easier decision.
