I have used Thule Bike Racks and Rocky Mtn racks and have dropped bikes on the roof with both. What makes this roof rack any different? Does it fit Thule Bars?

I think it's pretty comparable to similar Thule or Rocky Mtn model racks. It will fit both round and square bars.
