my friend has a monitor by nike and we do the same exact workout...

my friend has a monitor by nike and we do the same exact workout and we are the same size, but are calories burned are different by a lot. for a spin class her's would be 800 and mine would be 500. i think something is wrong with my watch. Did i set something wrong?
