The temperature ratings are determined in a controlled environment with not real people... It really depends 1. What kind of sleeper you are (I'm always cold at night and think my 20-degree-F bag is really only a 32-degree-F bag)... the other part is 2. what kind of sleeping pad/tent you have. If you really think that you are only going to be at about 0-C, then this is probably much more extreme than you need. Hope that helps a little!
