I'm considering these for touring/ski mountaineering. For now I need a "quiver of one", good for both winter and spring. I'm 5'11", 195-200lbs I guess, and I'm wondering whether anyone has thoughts whether I should go for the 177 or 187. My mainly in-bounds alpine skis are 184's, 100mm underfoot.

For touring and ski mountaineering I WOULD LEAN TOWARDS THE SHORTER 177CM SKI!Better for tight sections and easier to carry! Take care and giver!
