Soo with this Grigri i couldn't use a 9.2mm rope? the grigri thats not in the package deal doesn't specify which size of ropes you can use soo are there different grigri's used for different ropes?

the lowest i've heard the grigri catch on is mid 9 range..like a 9.7 rope..though it is not rated for that. trango cinch is a good alternative, also try the edelrid eddy. it ranges from 9 to 11...most people love it, and then there are some people who don't know how to operate it and give it a bad review.

If you want a device to catch you on a 9mm, check out the Trango cinch.
